Understanding Color Correction

There are a wide variety of color corrections, but two of the most common are making really dark hair lighter, or making really light hair darker. Have you ever visited your stylist after dying your hair with a dark box color and wanted to go blonde? Your hair will need to be bleached. This can take several appointments to maintain the health and integrity of your hair without damaging it. Furthermore, after using a box dye, your hair is more prone to lift unevenly with reddish and orange tones. Furthermore, if your hair is already platinum blonde and you want to go to a dark color, your stylist will have to fill your hair with a base color as blonde hair doesn’t have any pigment. They will then put your desired color on top of the filler once it’s rinsed out.
